A fire erupted Monday morning near Dubai's Financial Centre Metro station, sending thick black smoke billowing along Sheikh Zayed Road during peak commuter hours.

Emergency services responded quickly to the scene. The exact location and cause of the blaze remain under investigation, with Dubai Civil Defence personnel still assessing the situation. No casualties have been reported so far.

Residents shared footage on social media showing emergency vehicles and ladder trucks deployed around affected buildings. Traffic delays were reported across surrounding areas as authorities established safety perimeters.

This follows a fire incident last month when Abu Dhabi Police and Civil Defence teams responded to a blaze at the carpet market near Zayed Port.
