Two members of the UAE Armed Forces were killed after a helicopter crashed due to a technical malfunction while carrying out their national duty, the Ministry of Defence confirmed on Monday.
The incident was attributed to a technical fault, according to an official statement released by the ministry.

Defence Ministry confirms deaths
In its statement, the Ministry of Defence confirmed the deaths of the two servicemen and expressed condolences to their families.
The ministry said it extends its “deepest condolences and sympathies” to the families of the fallen personnel.
Authorities did not immediately release further details about the location of the crash or the identities of the servicemen.
