The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments called on all Muslims to perform the eclipse prayer today, after the afternoon prayer, in all mosques in the country.
The Emirates Fatwa Council clarified the legality of performing the eclipse prayer, in a fatwa in which it affirmed that the eclipse prayer is a confirmed sunnah for everyone who is legally commanded to pray. As for its time; it begins when the eclipse appears, and ends with the eviction of the eclipse.
