The UAE is seeing a mix of fair to partly cloudy skies today, with a drop in temperatures expected in the western regions and along the coast. Low clouds are likely to form over the eastern coast during the day.

Fog or mist may form overnight

Humidity levels are expected to rise by tonight and into Thursday morning, increasing the chance of fog or mist, especially in coastal and inland areas. Drivers are advised to stay alert due to reduced visibility.

Dust and sand may reduce visibility

Light to moderate winds will sweep across the country, picking up speed westward—reaching up to 40 km/h in some areas. This could lead to blowing dust and sand, particularly in western and internal regions, affecting visibility.

Temperature and wind forecast

  • Coastal & Islands: Highs of 41°C to 37°C, lows of 30°C to 25°C, with humidity up to 90%.

  • Internal Areas: Highs reaching 47°C, lows down to 24°C, humidity peaking at 85%.

  • Mountains: Highs between 34°C and 38°C, lows of 26°C to 31°C.

Winds will blow from southeasterly to northwesterly directions, ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, with gusts up to 40 km/h in internal and coastal areas.

Sea conditions

The Arabian Gulf will be slight to moderate but may turn rough westward. The Oman Sea remains slight to moderate.
