One of the funny things is that during the "Normandy" operation of the Allies during World War II, the password to start the operation was "Mickey Mouse".

In celebration of Mickey Mouse's birthday, Disney annually opens a 16,000-square-foot art gallery in Manhattan featuring original artwork, photo ops, and souvenirs.
