Shakshouka

TBK serves the Shakshouka, a traditional Maghrebi dish made with fragrant tomato sauce, feta cheese, chili flakes and basil oil topped with poached eggs as part of its breakfast menu that is available from 9 AM to 12.30 PM, every day. While basil isn’t traditionally used in North African cuisine, the herb oil gives this dish a distinct profile that evokes the like-minded Italian dish “eggs in purgatory”. And as with everything at TBK, it puts a playful new spin on a time-honoured dish.

Steak and Fries

For AED 210, diners can tuck into a black angus steak topped with a secret sauce and served sizzling. The sauce works in harmony with the special seasonings, resulting in an incredibly moist, perfectly cooked steak with a seared crust. Not a side dish, but a companion to the main event, the homemade fries come perfectly crispy on the outside with a filling of gooey potato puree on the inside. No matter how meat lovers prefer to eat their steak, TBK ensures a seamless plate of melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

Veal Piccata

Transport yourself to Sicily when you take a bite of this Italian classic Veal Piccata. A generous portion of thinly sliced veal that comes in a light lemon butter sauce that can be enjoyed alongside a bed of pilaf rice. Priced at AED 115, this dish at TBK is handsomely seasoned with delicate spices that amplify the dining experience with each meaty bite.

Vanilla Meringue Cake

Make any celebration more special with this toasted exterior Vanilla Meringue Cake made with Italian meringue, vanilla cream and moist vanilla sponge. With its rich yet light flavour, this cake will be a centerpiece for any celebration. The Vanilla Meringue Cake is generously sized - serves six to eight people and can be ordered 24 hours in advance from the restaurant.
