Abu Dhabi: Free Breast Cancer Screening

Bawabat Al Sharq Mall in the heart of the UAE capital launched the "You Are a Hero" campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer, coinciding with the International Month for Breast Cancer Awareness.

The event will include inviting all members of society to show support and solidarity for breast cancer patients, urging them to undergo regular examinations, and providing them with important information about breast cancer, as an awareness booth is planned by the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA).

In addition, the campaign offers free breast cancer screenings at any of the SEHA medical centers, and a workshop will be held to highlight the importance of early screening, hosted by a group of breast cancer survivors who will share their journey of recovery with the public.

As part of the campaign, the heroic women who are fighting the disease will be honored, and a set of gifts and shopping vouchers will be presented to the women who attend the campaign.

The campaign will run inside the mall and online until October 9 from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
