Abu Dhabi To Host the First Sail Grand Prix in 2024

Abu Dhabi is preparing to welcome the first-ever Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix, which will be held on January 13 and 14, 2024.

The inaugural event will be part of the SailGP Season 3, which will see teams from 10 countries compete in a series of races around the world. The Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix will be the first event of the season, and it is expected to attract a large crowd of spectators.

The racing event will be held at Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi. The event will feature the world's best sailors representing national teams worldwide. The sailors will compete in hydrofoiling F50 catamarans, which are capable of speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour (62 miles per hour).

The Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix is a significant addition to the SailGP Season 4 schedule. The event is presented in partnership with SailGP's Global Series Partner, Mubadala Investment Company, and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
