Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 is About to Break Records—Here’s Why You Can’t Miss It

Yas Island is already buzzing, and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix hasn’t even started yet. With just days to go, the city is gearing up for what might be its wildest race weekend ever. Think huge crowds, high-stakes racing, and a music lineup that feels like a mini festival on its own.

A Title Fight Going Down to the Wire

This year’s Grand Prix is the final race of the season, and the championship battle is a nail-biter. Lando Norris is barely holding onto the lead, while Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen are close enough to change everything. Only 24 points separate the three, with 58 still up for grabs. Yas Marina could be where the whole season flips.

A Crowd Bigger Than Ever

Fans are flying in from more than 100 countries, and early numbers show this might beat last year’s 192,000 visitors. More than 40,000 crew members are preparing the 5.28km circuit—setting up grandstands, testing lights, and polishing every corner of the fan zones. For one weekend, Yas Island basically becomes its own temporary city built for adrenaline and spectacle.

Concerts That Feel Like a Festival

This year’s Yasalam After-Race Concerts are stacked. Etihad Park will host Benson Boone, Post Malone, Elyanna, Metallica, and Katy Perry. Calvin Harris, Idris Elba, and Keinemusik will take over the after-parties, stretching the energy deep into the night.

A Push for Sustainability

The event is also going greener. Expect no single-use plastics, more solar power, biofuel generators, and plenty of free water stations with canned water produced straight from the air.
