You Can Pre-Order The New iPhone 12 In The UAE Soon

If you’re planning to line up outside Apple stores this Friday, September 19, forget it. Apple has scrapped walk-in sales for the iPhone 17 series in the UAE. That means no direct in-store purchases of the iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, or 17 Pro Max on launch day.

How to Get Yours

The only way to grab your device on Day 1 is to pre-order online at apple.com/ae and select “Pick up in store.” Once it’s ready, Apple will ping you with a pickup pass (QR code style). Bring that, plus valid ID, to collect your shiny new phone.

Price Check

Here’s the starting lineup in the UAE:

  • iPhone 17 – Dh3,399 (256GB base)

  • iPhone 17 Air – Dh4,299 (new mid-tier option)

  • iPhone 17 Pro – Dh4,699 (slight hike, more storage)

  • iPhone 17 Pro Max – Dh5,099 (price unchanged)

Where to Pick Up

Pick-up points include Apple Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Yas Mall, and Al Maryah Island. No pick-up code, no phone — so don’t forget that step.

Why the Change

Apple’s move is all about crowd control. In past launches, fans camped outside UAE stores overnight just to be first. This new system aims to keep launch day a little less chaotic.
