Meta’s Founder Mark Zuckerberg tweeted for the first time in 11 years, using a Spider-Man meme to mark the launch of Instagram's rolled out Threads, a rival to Twitter.

Threads was rolled out a day early on Wednesday to users in 100 countries.

Because the app functions somewhat similarly to Twitter, Zuckerberg posted the famous Spider-Man pointing at Spider-Man meme in an effort to amuse internet users.

Zuckerberg's post did not have any caption.

His tweet has been seen 4.2 million times as of publishing time.

In the first four hours after the app's launch, more than five million people signed up for it, Zuckerberg wrote on Threads.

The Facebook founder made his last tweet on January 18, 2012. “Tell your congressmen you want them to be pro-internet,” Zuckerberg had tweeted, sharing a link to his Facebook post.
