Sharjah Airport just made travel a whole lot easier. With its new ‘Home Check-In’ service, you can now finish your check-in process without stepping foot in the airport until it’s time to fly. Whether you’re chilling at home, staying in a hotel, or wrapping up at work, a special airport team will handle your boarding pass and even pick up your luggage right from your doorstep.
Once you arrive at the airport, just skip the long lines and head straight to passport control. Yup, no more wrestling with trolleys or standing in check-in queues.
How to Book
Booking’s easy—you can sign up at www.sharjahairport.ae, call 800745424, or use the SHJ Home Check-In app. Just make sure to book at least eight hours before your flight. It’s especially perfect for families, frequent flyers, or anyone who hates last-minute airport chaos.
How Much Does It Cost?
The prices depend on how many bags you’re sending off:
-
Coral Package: AED 145 (1–2 bags)
-
Silver Package: AED 165 (3–4 bags)
-
Gold Package: AED 185 (up to 6 bags)
Need to add more? It’s AED 20 per extra bag, following your airline’s baggage policy. Right now, the service is in its first phase and covers select areas in Sharjah.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi Are Already Doing It
Sharjah’s catching up with Dubai and Abu Dhabi on this one. If you’re flying from Dubai, airlines like Emirates, Flydubai, Saudia, and Kuwait Airways already offer home check-in through Dubz by dnata.
And over in Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways has a similar service that makes the whole airport experience smoother and faster.
So if you’re all about convenience, Sharjah’s new move means less waiting, less stress, and more time for that pre-flight coffee.
