Bookworms, get ready — Big Bad Wolf is finally landing in Ajman, and it’s bringing a mountain of books with it. For the first time ever, the world’s largest book fair will take over the Ajman Youth Centre from 25 September to 5 October.

Free Entry + Massive Discounts

No tickets, no excuses. Entry is free for all 11 days, and doors are open daily from 10am to 9pm. Inside, you’ll find over 250,000 books up for grabs, with discounts of up to 90%. Prices start at just Dh2, which basically means you can walk out with a stack of reads for the price of your morning coffee.

Why Ajman?

According to Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director General of Ajman’s Department of Tourism Development, hosting Big Bad Wolf proves the emirate is serious about its cultural game. “This event reflects Ajman’s commitment to supporting culture and knowledge,” he said.

What’s the Big Bad Wolf Anyway?

Founded in Malaysia back in 2009, Big Bad Wolf has already toured over 50 cities across 17 countries. Its mission is simple: make books affordable for everyone. Or as founder Andrew Yap puts it, “Books are not a luxury, they are a right.” Ajman now joins the list as the fair’s 51st stop.
