Arriving in Dubai just got a little more memorable.

Passengers landing at Dubai Airports are now receiving a special ‘Dubai World Cup 2026’ passport stamp, celebrating the 30th edition of the iconic horse racing event.

A stamp to mark the moment

The initiative comes from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, with the stamp featuring the official logo of the event’s Pearl Jubilee edition.

It’s being added to passports of all incoming travellers, giving visitors a unique keepsake tied to one of Dubai’s biggest sporting events.

Extra perk: free SIM with data

It’s not just the stamp—passengers will also receive a free tourist SIM or eSIM with 10GB of data, provided by du, right at immigration.

All eyes on the Dubai World Cup

The Dubai World Cup takes place on March 28 at the Meydan Racecourse and is considered one of the most prestigious and valuable horse racing events in the world.

Not Dubai’s first themed stamp

This isn’t the first time Dubai has turned passport stamps into souvenirs. Previous editions included:

  • Ramadan in Dubai 2024 stamp with crescent and star design

  • Dubai Airshow 2023 stamp highlighting aerospace innovation

  • Museum of the Future 2022 stamp featuring the iconic landmark

  • Mars Hope Probe 2021 stamp, inspired by the UAE’s historic space mission
