Dubai Airport Show 2026 to Highlight AI & ATM Innovations

Dubai is set to host the 25th edition of the Airport Show from May 12 to 14, 2026, bringing together leading global aviation companies to present the latest airport technologies and air traffic management solutions.

The three-day exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre will focus on advanced air traffic management (ATM) and air traffic control (ATC) systems tailored for Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) and airport operators. More than 150 exhibitors from over 30 countries are expected to participate, alongside an estimated 7,000 industry visitors and 120 hosted buyers.

The event will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports.

Focus on AI-powered airport systems

Airports across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia are accelerating investments in smarter air traffic infrastructure as passenger demand continues to rise. Global passenger traffic is projected to reach 5.2 billion in 2026 and expand to 17.7 billion by 2043, while aircraft movements are forecast to climb to 149 million over the same period.

In the Middle East, passenger traffic alone is expected to exceed 240 million in 2026. To accommodate this growth, airports are increasingly adopting digital platforms powered by artificial intelligence, machine learning and advanced data analytics. These technologies enable real-time monitoring of air traffic patterns, improved aircraft spacing and enhanced operational safety.

The Middle East, home to roughly 110 airports and one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation corridors, continues to modernise its air traffic systems to maintain global competitiveness.

Industry forums to run alongside exhibition

Airport Show 2026 will also host several co-located conferences, including the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum, Airport Security Middle East, the ATC Forum and the Women in Aviation Middle East Conference. The ATC Forum will mark its ninth edition during the event.

May Ismail, Event Manager at RX Middle East, the show’s organiser, said: “AI and Big Data are transforming air traffic management (ATM), making it smarter, safer, and more efficient. Airport Show 2026 will showcase the world’s leading ATM and ATC solutions, helping the Middle East and nearby regions stay at the forefront of aviation innovation.”
