Dubai Festival City Mall Fire Brought Under Control

Dubai Civil Defence evacuated Dubai Festival City Mall on Monday evening following a fire. Part of the building facade was affected by the blaze.

An alert was sent to the civil defence at 7:28 pm, and they reached the spot within six minutes brining the fire under control by 7:42 pm whereas cooling operations continued till 8:09 pm.

The site was later handed over to the authorities for investigations.

This was the second fire tackled by Dubai Civil Defence team on Monday after putting out a blaze at a recycling warehouse in Al Quoz Industrial Area 1.
