Dubai's RTA Announces Free Parking Citywide for New Year's Day 2024

In celebration of the upcoming New Year, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced a special treat for residents and visitors. On Monday, January 1st, 2024, all public parking spaces will be free of charge, providing a hassle-free start to the year.

This complimentary parking offer, however, does not extend to multi-storey parking facilities. Normal paid services for these spaces will resume on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.

In addition to the free parking initiative, the RTA has adjusted the routes of two crucial bus services—Route (E100) will initiate its journey from Ibn Battuta Station to Abu Dhabi, while Route (E102) will commence its service from Ibn Battuta Station to Musaffah Community. These routes will be redirected from Friday, December 29th, 2023, to Monday, January 1st, 2024, providing convenient transport options during the New Year's holiday.

While planning your New Year's Day, it's essential to note the closure of RTA Customer Happiness Centres on January 1st, 2024. However, Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool, Al Manara, Deira, Al Barsha, and RTA Headquarters will remain open, ensuring uninterrupted services.
