Highs Up to 49°C with Chance of Fog: UAE Weather, July 1

The UAE is experiencing fair to partly cloudy skies today, with low clouds expected to appear along the eastern coast. According to the National Centre of Meteorology, a weak surface pressure system and an upper air high-pressure ridge are influencing the current conditions.

  • Temperatures:

    • Internal areas: Scorching heat continues, with highs between 44°C to 49°C.

    • Coastal areas: Expect 37°C to 44°C, cooling to 25°C to 30°C at night.

    • Mountains: Temperatures range between 35°C to 39°C.

  • Humidity:
    High humidity levels are expected, particularly in coastal and island areas, reaching up to 90%. Internal regions may experience humidity as high as 85%, increasing the discomfort.

  • Fog & Mist Alert:
    Humid conditions tonight and early Wednesday morning could lead to fog or mist formation, especially over coastal and internal areas. Drivers are urged to stay cautious during early commutes.

  • Winds:
    Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds, occasionally freshening up to 35 km/h in most areas. In the mountains, winds may shift southeasterly to northeasterly.

  • Sea Conditions:
    The Arabian Gulf will be slight to moderate, while the Oman Sea remains slight.
