Over 20,000 Register for the 'Ahlan Modi' Event Scheduled in February

Registration for the reception featuring Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address to the expat community in Abu Dhabi next month has been highly anticipated according to the event organizers.

Named 'Ahlan Modi', the community reception is set to take place at Zayed Sports City Stadium in the capital on February 13th, 2023.

A key member of the organizing committee reported that over 20,000 individuals have registered so far through the website https://ahlanmodi.ae/.

More than 350 Indian community leaders attended a pre-event briefing at the India Club, Dubai, reflecting significant enthusiasm for the occasion. Organizers anticipate filling the stadium and have established various volunteer committees for planning and execution.

This visit will mark Modi's seventh to the UAE, and the mega community event will precede the inauguration of the region’s first traditional Hindu stone temple in Abu Dhabi, scheduled for February 14.

The highly anticipated opening of the iconic BAPS Hindu Mandir will be celebrated with a unique 'Festival of Harmony.'
