UAE Residents Can Now Register for Hajj 2023 on These Dates

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has announced that Muslims in the United Arab Emirates can register for Hajj 2023 from February 13 and until March 10, 2023.

Potential pilgrims must register on its digital platforms, according to the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (Awqaf) of the United Arab Emirates. Pilgrims must provide their mobile phone numbers and Emirates IDs after they select the 'Hajj registration' tab.

The UAE Government urges Emiratis to make reservations early because the quota is limited. Haj permits are often exclusively given out by the UAE government to Emirati citizens. Expatriates must follow their home country's regulations and procedures.

This year, Hajj is anticipated to begin around June 26 and the number of pilgrims will return to what it was before the pandemic.
