Parents Can Now Track School Bus Trips in Abu Dhabi via This App

Parents can now track the safety of their children's school bus journeys via a new app called "Salama" launched in Abu Dhabi.

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has launched the smart app as part of its integrated smart system for managing and monitoring school transport.

The Salama app was launched in collaboration with the Department of Education and Knowledge.

The app includes several features such as providing details of the school bus trip in real-time, the time of the trip's departure and destination, and the time at which students board and disembark from the school bus.

It also records students' attendance, and the estimated arrival time at school or home through notifications sent to parents, as well as providing parents and schools with details on drivers and supervisors, and allowing direct communication with bus supervisors and operators.
