Dance Group Quickstyle to Perform in Dubai Tomorrow

The viral Norwegian-Pakistani dance group Quickstyle will headline Dubai Shopping Festival's (DSF) closing ceremony, at City Walk, Dubai on January 28.

This hip-hop/ urban dance group became famous through a video titled "Famous Wedding Show 2022", which received 98 million views on Youtube. 

However, the group had been working for years before this dance video. Norwegian-Pakistani twins, Suleman and Bilal Malik and their Norwegian-Thai best friend, Nasir Sirikhan formed the group in 2006. Since then, the group has won Norske Talenter, Norway’s Got Talent. In 2009, they opened their first dance studio titled Quickstyle in Oslo, Norway. 

The group has also choreographed the world-famous K-pop band BTS dance for three of their songs: Boys with Luv, Blood Sweat and Tears and Save Me. 

 

In 2019, Quickstyle was named UNICEF goodwill ambassador from Norway. The move aimed to reduce racism, which was part of the UN’s Sustainability Development Goal #10: reducing inequalities.

The band has also performed in Dubai as part of Coke Studio Live in October 3033. .
