The UAE is set for a comfortable stretch of weather from December 25 to 29, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Think pleasant daytime conditions, cooler nights, and a small but real chance of rain — especially up north.

Here’s what to expect over the next few days.

Cooler Nights, Comfortable Days

NCM says temperatures will stay generally moderate during the day, making it ideal for outdoor plans. Nights, however, will feel noticeably cooler thanks to a weak low-pressure system moving through the region.

If you’re heading out late, a light jacket won’t hurt.

Clouds Roll In, Rain Possible

Medium to low clouds are expected to increase at times, with a chance of light to moderate rain across parts of the country. Rain is most likely over islands and northern areas, with heavier showers possible in the far north.

It’s not a washout — more of an occasional shower situation — but still something to keep an eye on.

Winds Pick Up, Seas Get Rougher

Winds will shift between southwesterly and northwesterly, staying mostly light to moderate but turning stronger at times. By Sunday, northwesterly winds could make sea conditions rougher, especially for anyone planning marine activities.

The weather authority confirmed it’s monitoring conditions around the clock and will issue updates if anything changes. So far, no major disruptions are expected — just a classic winter mix of cool air, clouds, and possible rain.
