1 Billion Meals Endowment Campaign Generates AED404 Million in 10 Days

The "1 Billion Meals Endowment" campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister of the UAE, has raised over AED404 million ($110 million) in just 10 days.

The campaign has received contributions from over 70,000 donators, including individuals and businesses from both the public and private sectors.

People, governmental organizations, private sector businesses, businessmen, and influential benefactors in the Gulf country were able to donate via the campaign's website, SMS, bank transfers, a dedicated call center, or the DubaiNow app.

By texting the word "Meal" to 1020 for du users and 1110 for Etisalat by e& users, donors can opt to contribute AED 1 every day through a monthly subscription.

Another option is to send once by texting the word "Meal" (for both du and Etisalat customers) to 1034 for AED10 donations, 1035 for AED50 contributions, 1036 for AED100 donations, and 1038 for AED500 donations.

The campaign, which coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, aims to organize local, regional, and worldwide efforts to build sustainable programs to eradicate hunger and provide food for the underprivileged.
