Sheikh Mohammed Reveals AED 1 Billion 'Mothers' Endowment'

A monumental AED 1 billion endowment fund, dedicated to honoring mothers, has been inaugurated in the UAE ahead of Ramadan.

This philanthropic endeavor, known as the 'Mothers' Endowment,' aims to channel its proceeds to support the education of countless individuals in disadvantaged communities globally.

The esteemed launch of this initiative was proclaimed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.

Functioning as a perpetual charitable contribution, the fund offers a platform for individuals to contribute in the name of their mothers, perpetuating a legacy of compassion and educational support initiated by the people of the UAE.

"The holy month of Ramadan approaches, and as has been our tradition of launching humanitarian campaigns, from the people of the UAE to the world every year, today we launch the Mothers’ Endowment; an education endowment fund valued at AED 1 billion, which acts as an ongoing charity in the name of all mothers in the UAE," Sheikh Mohammed said in a post on platform X.

"A mother is a synonym of heaven, and her satisfaction is the path to heaven. We call upon everyone – young and old, men and women - to be part of this endowment," he further added.

The 'Mothers' Endowment,' initiated by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed, will contribute to global education, empowering millions for independent, dignified lives.

Collaborating with humanitarian organizations, the funds focus on underprivileged communities, fostering stability through education and vocational training. Operating under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), this campaign, following successful Ramadan initiatives, elevates community engagement. Sheikh Mohammed's prior campaigns, like '10 Million Meals,' '100 Million Meals,' and '1 Billion Meals,' displayed a commitment to aiding those affected by crises, reaching numerous countries.

The recent '1 Billion Meals Endowment' in Ramadan 2023 demonstrated a dedication to establishing a substantial and sustainable food aid endowment fund. The Mothers' Endowment extends this legacy, emphasizing education's transformative impact on individuals globally.
