Five Ways to Donate to the “1 Billion Meals Endowment” Campaign

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the "1 Billion Meals Endowment" campaign. Individuals and organizations can send their contributions through the five designated channels for donation.

The campaign, which coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, aims to organize local, regional, and worldwide efforts to build sustainable programs to eradicate hunger and provide food for the underprivileged.

The campaign's website, SMS, bank transfers, a dedicated call center, or the DubaiNow app are all acceptable ways for people, governmental organizations, private sector businesses, businessmen, and influential benefactors in the UAE to donate to the 1 billion meals campaign.

By texting the word "Meal" to 1020 for du users and 1110 for Etisalat by e& users, donors can opt to contribute AED 1 every day through a monthly subscription.

Another option is to send once by texting the word "Meal" (for both du and Etisalat customers) to 1034 for AED10 donations, 1035 for AED50 contributions, 1036 for AED100 donations, and 1038 for AED500 donations.

This campaign is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals set forth by the United Nations for the year 2030, which also call for the eradication of poverty and the attainment of food security.
