Many of us have put off travels due to the current global situation with COVID19. However, this should not put your plans on hold. Getting to Abu Dhabi Yas Island is a piece of cake! Just make sure you have the required PCR and you are all set. The process is very simple and took us no more than 1 hour drive from Dubai (including the PCR checkpoint).

So why did we LOVE Yas Island?

  1. Safety Measures. Rest assured everywhere at Yas Island safety measures are in place. Social distancing, sanitizers, masks.
  2. Amazing assortment of hotels. We stayed at the W-Hotel. An amazing funky and trendy hotel. the W Brand! The lobby design will always impress. Beautiful and open rooms and an assortment of food & beverage outlets.
  3. Playground for all. Including adults. Be it the KartZone (for racing cars kids, adults and professionals). It has to be on your bucket list!
    1. Yas KartZone at Yas Marina Circuit. An experience filled with adrenaline.
    2. Warner Bros. World. Don’t miss out on this theme park. We loved it (adults & kids). Plenty of rides and I highly recommend you get the priority pass. It will spare you the queue on the popular rides! Zero waiting time.
    3. Ferrari World. Yes you read it right. This is a unique opportunity to explore the world of Ferrari. Fun, entertainment and informational. You will love it! No need for the priority pass.
  4. Shopping. With Yas Island Mall next to Ferrari World (walking distance), you will definitely make the best of your visit.
  5. Food. You will have an ample assortment of choices. From fine dining to casual fast food. Highly recommend you try Mamma Rosella  at Ferrari World and Hollywood Trattoria.
  6. Value for your money! From the theme parks to the hotel offers, it is a bargain. You should consider getting annual passes for the theme parks.
  7. Accessibility & Convenience. All the entertainment is within 15 minutes’ drive. Easy parking everywhere.
