Outdoor Eid prayer gatherings have been restricted across the UAE to ensure worshippers’ safety.
The UAE’s Moon-Sighting Committee will look for the Shawwal crescent on March 18. If sighted, Eid Al Fitr will begin on March 19; if not, it will fall on March 20.
