December Fuel Prices: Petrol Drops, Diesel Edges Up Slightly

Drivers in the UAE can look forward to cheaper petrol prices in December 2024 after a slight hike last month. However, diesel users will face a marginal increase, as per the latest announcement by the UAE Fuel Price Committee.

From December 1, Super 98 petrol will be priced at AED 2.61 per litre, down from November’s AED 2.74. Special 95 will cost AED 2.50, reduced from AED 2.63, while E Plus 91 drops to AED 2.43, compared to AED 2.55 the previous month.

For diesel, the cost per litre will rise slightly to AED 2.68, up from AED 2.67 in November.

The adjustment provides some relief for petrol users, particularly as the holiday season kicks in, though the minor increase in diesel prices might affect transportation costs.
