Dubai Penthouse at Bugatti Residences Sold for Record Dh550 Million

Dubai’s luxury real estate market has reached a new milestone after a penthouse sold for Dh550 million ($150 million), making it the most expensive penthouse ever sold in the UAE and the wider Middle East.

The record-breaking transaction involves a sprawling 47,200-square-foot unit at Bugatti Residences by Binghatti, located in Business Bay. According to the developer, the sale achieved a rate of Dh11,650 per square foot, the highest price per square foot ever recorded in the district.

The sale surpasses Dubai’s previous penthouse record, which was set at Nakheel’s Como Residences on Palm Jumeirah, a 71-storey luxury tower scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2027.

While the identity of the buyer was not disclosed, industry experts note that branded residences continue to attract ultra-high-net-worth individuals due to their strong investment returns and lifestyle appeal.

Dubai cements status as global luxury hub

Dubai’s surge in ultra-luxury property sales is being driven by demand from the global elite, including celebrities, athletes and international investors.

Muhammad Binghatti, Chairman of Binghatti, confirmed that high-profile figures such as football superstar Neymar Jr., Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, and international footballer Aymeric Laporte have purchased homes at Bugatti Residences. Other celebrity buyers have invested in developments by Damac Properties, Danube Properties, Amali Properties, and Nakheel, reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a magnet for global wealth.

The developer added that its signature Sky Mansion penthouses are designed to offer exceptional privacy and bespoke amenities tailored to ultra-wealthy buyers.

With record-setting transactions and sustained international demand, Dubai continues to solidify its position as one of the world’s most dynamic and sought-after luxury real estate markets.
