The Mozambican-flagged vessel sent an urgent distress call after coming under threat. Iran's Ambassador to India, Mohammad Fathali, highlighted that the quick response of the rescue teams shows the country's strong commitment to protecting seafarers.

Speaking about the incident, Fathali explained that the vessel came under attack by "hostile forces" as it entered Iranian waters. The Iranian Coast Guard immediately launched a coordinated rescue operation to bring everyone onboard to safety.

Indian Embassy Confirms All Sailors Are Safe

The Indian Embassy in Tehran has officially confirmed that all 28 Indian crew members are safe and unharmed. Thanks to the prompt action of the maritime rescue teams, a major crisis was successfully averted, ensuring the safe return of the sailors.
