Steak Night Comes to Bluewaters: The Spaniel Launches Steak Frites Fridays

Dubai, UAE – 7th July 2026 – In a city full of destination dining, The Spaniel, Bluewaters' quintessentially British pub and kitchen, has quietly become something rarer: a proper neighbourhood spot for Dubai’s discerning residents.

Steak Night Comes to Bluewaters: The Spaniel Launches Steak Frites Fridays

That neighbourly spirit is at the heart of the venue's newest weekly offering, Steak Frites Fridays, launching every Friday from 5pm. Designed as an easy, unfussy way to end the week, the concept brings together a hand-picked selection of steaks, triple-cooked frites and a full line-up of classic sauces - the sort of proper, satisfying dinner that's usually reserved for a special occasion, made into a standing weekly date.

The line-up spans everything from an approachable 200g Black Angus Flank Steak, priced from just AED 149, through to the showstopping 800g O'Connor Chateaubriand for two. In between sits a serious range of cuts for every appetite and budget, including the 300g O'Connor Black Angus Prime Ribeye, 250g Black Opal Wagyu Picanha, 250g Rangers Valley "Black Market" Sirloin and 225g Black Opal Wagyu Tenderloin - each cooked to order and served with slow-roasted garlic and a choice of Naked or Parmesan Truffle Fries.

Every steak is finished with a choice of sauce, from a classic Bordelaise or Bernaise to Green Peppercorn, Stilton, Diane or Chimichurri, with additional sides such as triple-cooked chips, mashed potatoes and honey-glazed carrots available for the table to share.

Set against the backdrop of Ain Dubai and The Spaniel's warm, wood-panelled dining room, Steak Frites Fridays is pitched less as an event and more as a ritual — the kind of low-key, well-priced night out that gives local residents a reason to book the same table two Fridays running. It's a fitting addition to a venue already known for Sunday Roasts and Wellington Wednesdays, and one more reason for the neighbourhood to treat The Spaniel as their local.
