Emirates has come up with an innovative way to prank UAE residents today, on April Fools' Day, as the airline announced a new maritime arm called Emirates Sealine. 

Emirates announced it will be sailing across the seven seas with its ultra-luxurious cruise liner, adding that itineraries and bookings will be open from "June 31st."

It added that Emirates Sealine sailed on its maiden sea trial at Dubai's Palm Jumeirah earlier yesterday, March 31st.

The first cruise is scheduled to flag off from Dubai Harbour on April 1st, 2024, the next April Fool's Day, for its maiden voyage to Karachi, the airline said.
