As the world has gone into lockdown due to the outbreak of Covid-19 in early 2020, many companies and businesses had to turn to the solution of working remotely in order to go on. Through time, working remotely has become a thing. Dubai is the second most popular destination for digital nomads, as in anyone who prefers working from home. 

In October 2020, Dubai launched an innovative program that allowed overseas telecommuting professionals to live in the city while continuing to serve their employers in their home country.
