Where to See Saturn in the Night Sky in the UAE?

Stargazers will be able to see Saturn in the night sky in the UAE on Sunday, August 27th, just four days ahead of the sighting of the blue moon.

Saturn will be in opposition with the Earth, meaning that the ringed planet is as close to the Earth as it gets all year long.

You can join the Dubai Astronomy team at Al Thuraya Astronomy Center in Mushrif Park to observe the sixth planet from the Sun. 

The event begins at 7.30pm and includes a lecture, a question and answer session, and observation via telescope.

Tickets are priced at AED 30 for children and AED 50 for adults.
