One of the most interesting phenomena that can be observed in the sky without the use of any particular device is a total lunar eclipse. In this occasion, the Moon gradually becomes a dark reddish color with the movement of the Earth among the Sun and the Moon. There were a lot of sky watchers looking forward to view the eclipse of Tuesday but weather chances were that it would be clouded over in various areas. Although lunar eclipses are very common sightings, they are largely determined by a clear night sky which in itself is a single factor to the success of the sight.
