A Bahraini Artist Created a Portrait of UAE's Founding Father

A Bahraini professional hair specialist Alia Al Amri created an intricate and beautiful portrait of UAE's founding father the late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan.

Al Amri created the portrait using crystal beads and threads and it took her two months to create the portrait, from late June to August. 

The portrait shows the late ruler wearing a headdress, a kandura, and a bisht.

The video the artist has shared of her masterpiece reveals the intricate details of the portrait and includes the voiceover of the late Sheikh Zayed.

Sheikh Zayed was the first president of the UAE and he was well-known by the title "the wise man of the Arabs".
