Sharjah has just announced that starting from 2022 people will have new working weeks, the new decision came from his highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

New working days and weekend in Sharjah
- 4 days workday 07:30 Am - 03:30 Pm
- 3 days weekend, which includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Effective from 1st January 2022.
- Friday will not be a working day, it is a full-day holiday.
