Sharjah Announces New Paid Parking Hours for Ramadan

Parking is free on Fridays, except in zones that have the blue information signs.

The Sharjah Municipality announced the paid parking hours for the emirate in Ramadan, which are 8 a.m. to midnight from Saturday to Thursday. 

Parking will be free on Fridays, except in zones that have blue information signs because in these areas, parking is paid on all days of the week. 

The municipality also shared the opening hours for Sharjah City Parks during Ramadan, which will be 4 p.m. to midnight and the timings for medical centres have also been finalized for the Holy Month.

The official Ramadan working hours for employees at Sharjah's government entities will be 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The working hours for ministries and federal authorities are 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday. The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) announced that the private sector's working hours will be reduced by two hours for Ramadan
