Sharjah Offers Up to 35% Off Traffic Fines for Quick Payers

Got a traffic fine in Sharjah? Here’s some good news that might take the sting out of it.

The Sharjah Police have announced a new discount system on traffic fines, giving motorists up to 35% off—but only if they pay within 60 days of the violation date.

If you miss that first window, no worries. You can still get a 25% discount if you pay the fine after 60 days but before one full year has passed.

Just one catch: the discount doesn't apply to serious traffic violations. So if you’ve committed a major offence, like reckless driving or endangering lives, this offer doesn’t cover you.

The goal? Encourage faster payments and reduce the burden on drivers while still promoting road safety across the emirate.

With the new traffic fine discount policy in place, now’s the time to clear those dues and save some cash—before the full penalty kicks in.
