Confirmed: Lewis Hamilton to Join Ferrari in 2025!

It is officially confirmed that seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton will join Scuderia Ferrari in 2025, according to statements released by both Ferrari and Hamilton's current team Mercedes.

Mercedes released a statement on their Instagram page, confirming that the British F1 driver will be with them for the 2024 season only and will leave the team in 2025.

Scuderia Ferrari also released a statement on their official Instagram page, announcing that Hamilton will join them in the 2025 F1 season.

Hamilton will be replacing Ferrari F1 driver Carlos Sainz Jr. whose contract with Ferrari will also end after the 2024 F1 season, according to the F1 team's Instagram page.

Sainz Jr. also shared a statement on his Instagram story, announcing the end of his contract with Ferrari at the end of the 2024 F1 season. 

Reports emerged on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 1 of Hamilton's departure from Mercedes and his upcoming partnership with Ferrari, however, the news was only confirmed on Thursday night with Mercedes and Ferrari releasing their official statements about the news.
