DP World Tour Championship was first held in 2009, and DP World Tour Championship 2022 will include five Rolex Series tournaments, three of which are in the United Arab Emirates.

DP World Tour Championship 2022 is the 14th edition of the tournament at Jumeirah Golf Estates and features the top 50 players on the season-long Rankings.

The DP World Tour Rankings is a season-long competition to crown the DP World Tour's Number One player.
