UAE's Best Jobs and Roles in 2022

A new survey conducted by Bayt.com and YouGov revealed the jobs and roles on top of the list of UAE employers who plan to hire in 2022.

The survey which was survey was conducted online from December 8, 2021, to January 10, 2022, showed that 76% of UAE employers are planning to hire new employees in 2022 while 34% of employers said they are searching for candidates with sales and marketing experience. Also, 31% are looking for mid-level experience and 30% want candidates with managerial experience.

On the other hand, business management (32%), engineering (29%) and commerce (22%) are the most sought-after academic qualifications amongst employers in the UAE.

Moreover, most UAE employers are demanding candidates to have good communication in English and Arabic (57%) followed by being a team player (46%), ability to work under pressure (41%) and good leadership skills (38%) as top skills for their hires.

Banking/finance, advertising/marketing/public relations and IT/internet/e-commerce emerge as the industries that attract or retain top talent in the UAE.
