Over 3000 Jobs to be Created by the Dubai AI & Web 3.0 Campus

The greatest cluster of artificial intelligence and technology firms in the MENA region, the "Dubai AI & Web 3.0 Campus," will be developed by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the region's leading global financial hub.

The announcement follows directives from H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and President of DIFC.

The DIFC Innovation campus will concentrate on the use of AI and Web 3.0 in the financial services sector, and it has big goals to grow into a dedicated campus encompassing over 100,000 square feet in the following five years.

“DIFC’s 2030 strategy is central to shaping the future of finance and innovation. AI is expected to inject AED103 billion into the UAE economy by 2035 and contribute 14 percent to the country’s GDP by the end of the decade. The Dubai AI & Web 3.0 Campus will significantly contribute to this growth as a global nexus for R&D, investment, and innovation by attracting over US$300 million in collective funds, over 500 global AI and Web 3.0 start-ups, and creating over 3000 jobs by 2028,” said Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC.

To draw, develop, and scale AI-based companies, the Campus will offer top-notch physical and digital infrastructure, including R&D facilities, accelerator programs, and collaborative workstations.

In order to create a thriving ecosystem of AI-driven activities in the area, the "Dubai AI & Web 3.0 Campus" will serve as a growth catalyst by attracting international innovators, start-ups, and industry leaders. In addition to utilizing DIFC's exclusive soft infrastructure, AI and Web 3.0 enterprises will also profit from a sector-specific dedicated licensing and regulatory framework.
