Dubai Expat Passed Audition in the New Season of American Idol

Dubai expat from Georgia and singer Nutsa Buzaladze passed the audition for the new season of American Idol in the latest episode, which aired on Monday. She impressed celebrity judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan with her amazing voice. 

 The 25-year-old singer sang "The Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston for which Luke Bryan called her 'JLo from Georgia', while Katy Perry and Lionel showered her with applause. Richie also told her "you nailed it”, while Perry advised her "you just need to be you. It just needs to be real and it could really be something.” 

Buzaladze received the golden ticket to Hollywood and she could not contain her excitement as she screamed "I got it!"

On her Instagram, Buzaladze wrote to her fans "Thank you guys sooooooo much for the love and support I received from morning... I feel soo thankful, grateful and blessed, kisses to all of you."

Nutsa Buzalladze has performed in various singing competitions including New Wave 2014, The Voice of Turkey, and Georgia's Got Talent. She also secured second place in the national final of Eurovision 2017 with the original ballad "White Horses Run". She has released one album Nutsa 22 and four singles.
