Dubai Police Launch Online Travel Ban Clearance That Lifts Restrictions in Seconds

Dubai Police just made dealing with travel bans way less stressful.

If you’re facing a travel restriction—especially one tied to rental or financial disputes—you can now check, pay, and clear it online in seconds. No queues. No paperwork. No running between offices.

The upgraded “Inquiry About Circulars and Travel Bans” service is now fully digital and available to users inside and outside the UAE.

Clear travel bans without visiting any office

The new system allows users to log in securely using UAE Pass, view circular details, identify who issued them, and pay outstanding amounts online.

Once payment is completed, the travel ban is automatically lifted within seconds. Previously, this process involved formal requests and manual approvals that could take days.

Rental dispute cases covered first

In its first phase, the service focuses on cases issued by the Rental Dispute Settlement Centre, allowing people with rental-related financial claims to settle everything remotely.

Dubai Police confirmed that work is ongoing to integrate Dubai Courts and Public Prosecution travel bans into future phases, making the system more comprehensive.

Instant alerts and case tracking

Users are instantly notified if a circular or travel ban is registered against them. They can also track case updates online, removing uncertainty and guesswork from the process.

New website, app, and Lawyers Platform launched

During the same announcement, Dubai Police unveiled the second generation of its website and smart app, along with a new Lawyers Platform offering seven specialised digital legal services.

The goal: faster processing, fewer in-person visits, and a smoother experience for both residents and legal professionals.

Lawyers can now handle cases fully online

The Lawyers Platform allows legal professionals to submit requests, upload documents, sign papers electronically, and track cases 24/7.

This means fewer police station visits and better coordination with courts and justice partners.

AI-powered and multilingual services

Dubai Police confirmed that artificial intelligence now plays a key role in its digital services. The platform supports seven UN-recognised languages, with AI tools enabling communication in over 268 languages.

An integrated digital assistant, Dubai Police AIX, guides users through services and procedures in real time.

One dashboard for everything

The updated system offers a unified experience across the website and app, with a single dashboard for services, notifications, and case tracking.

Users receive updates via email, SMS, and in-platform alerts, making it easier to stay on top of legal matters without constant follow-ups.

Legal sector welcomes the move

Lawyers have praised the platform as a major step forward in reducing delays and cutting unnecessary bureaucracy. Legal professionals say it saves time, improves efficiency, and makes case handling far more flexible.
