Dubai Police shows the true meaning of forgiveness

Dubai Police recently pardoned a foreign tourist who assaulted one of the policemen, was under the influence of alcohol and caused a fight between him and another European woman at a Dubai hotel.

The story:

It all went down when Al Rafaa police station received a phone call from the hotel about a drunk guest. 

Brigadier Ahmad Bin Ghalaita, Director of Al Rafaa police station, said in a report to Al Roeya that a police patrol car was sent to the hotel to asses the situation. 

They found the tourist drunk indulging in unruly behaviour with a woman.

When the policeman tried to apprehend him, the man turned violent and injured the policeman in the process. He was later arrested. The tourist realised his mistake and apologised to the officials.

After coming to his senses, the tourist apologised for his behaviour and explained that he wasn't aware of his actions. He said that this was his first visit to Dubai, and that he is a very respectful person. The man also apologised to the European woman he fought with.

The police released the man, even going so far as to exchange flowers with him.
