Motorists in Dubai are advised to plan ahead as the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has announced a temporary overnight diversion on Al Khaleej Street.

The closure will affect traffic moving between Cairo Street Roundabout and Al Wahida Street Roundabout, particularly for those heading towards Al Mamzar.

The diversion is scheduled to begin at 12:00am on Sunday, April 5, and will remain in place until 5:00am on Monday, April 6, 2026.

Drivers are encouraged to take alternative routes and allow extra travel time during the closure window.

The move comes as part of routine infrastructure works aimed at ensuring smoother and safer road conditions across the city.
