Road Closures for Dubai Run and Abu Dhabi's Zayed Charity Marathon

Some roads will be closed off in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for the Zayed Charity Marathon on Nov. 25 and for the Dubai Run 2023 on Nov. 26.

Zayed Charity Marathon in Abu Dhabi

The Zayed Charity Marathon will take place at Reem Island, therefore Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport System (ITC) has announced the closure of parts of Al Matlai Street from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Nov. 25.

The ITC has also put in place diversions on Al Ghazal Street prior to the marathon. 

Routes leading directly to Reem Mall will be closed from midnight to 10:00 a.m.

Dubai Run  

The Dubai Run will take place on Nov. 26, therefore the Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed during the event.

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will also set up diversions to keep the traffic moving, which means that commuters will have to take alternative routes to get to their destinations.

RTA will put in place diversions at Al Wasl Street and Al Mustaqbal Street. 

The Dubai Run will begin at 4:30 a.m. and the event must finish by 8:30 a.m. so that the road can reopen to traffic. 

If you're planning to commute during these events, it is best to plan your trip ahead and take alternative routes to reach your destination on time.
