Emirates and Etihad Airways Among the World's Top 10 Airlines for 2023

Both UAE national airlines, Emirates and Etihad, have been voted in the top ten airlines in the world, according to AirlineRatings.com list of the world's top 25 airlines.

The rating is calculated based on the consistency of the level of service, innovation, staff engagement, and a seven-star safety rating system.

Dubai's Emirates airline advanced six places from last year climbing to tenth place, while Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways stayed strong at third place.

Meanwhile, Air New Zealand was named the best airline in the world, knocking Qatar Airways off the top spot after two years, moving the latter to second place.

Earlier this year, the two UAE-based carriers were also named the top 10 safest airlines in the world for 2023.
